With strong peasant traditions, Cerignola has an ancient heart in the village of Terra Vecchia, a primitive medieval settlement once framed by walls and towers, which has remained unchanged over the centuries, where you can venture along the winding and paved streets. The entrance to the district is marked by the Torre dell’Orologio, where the oldest temple in the city, the mother church, and the fifteenth-century Church of Sant’Agostino stand.

FARMHOUSE DESCRIPTION
At the farm, nestled in the Regional Natural Park of the River Ofanto, on the border between Puglia and Basilicata, you are hosted among vast landscapes, cozy rooms, good food and country life. The structure, obtained from an ancient post of the sheep of transhumance, offers a large double bedroom, with bathroom (also with disabled access), air conditioning, television, mini bar, terrace overlooking the Vulture.

FARM CROPS AND PRODUCTS
For 4 generations the farm has been producing wheat, as per the vocation of the Tavoliere delle Puglie. For about 10 years Antonella and Maria have returned from Milan and immediately chose the transition to organic farming. Rapidly, agricultural diversification was also achieved: the traditional crops of soft and durum wheat were added to those of ancient cereals (Senatore Cappelli, Saragolla, spelled), legumes (chickpeas, black chickpeas and lentils) and aromatic herbs ( oregano, sage, rosemary). Since 2020, transformations based on farm and / or local products (jams, biscuits, crackers) have been made in the farm's laboratory.
