Despite being a few kilometers from the center of Rome, the Insugherata Nature Reserve still preserves natural woods, animal and vegetable populations of great value, as well as historical sites of great interest. The area is particularly favorable due to its geographical and geomorphological characteristics for the development of biodiversity. The richness of flora and fauna bear witness to this. A few examples are enough: more than 630 plant species have been registered - more than half of those known for the whole territory of Rome; The Flora Atlas of Rome has identified the area with the highest density of plant species in the Reserve area; as many as 44 species are exclusive to this area and one, newly reported, is even absent throughout the region.

FARMHOUSE DESCRIPTION
The property consists of a suggestive agricultural farmhouse among olive groves and cultivated fields. It offers its guests rooms with simple furnishings overlooking the surrounding greenery, as well as a restaurant with strictly organic cuisine.

FARM CROPS AND PRODUCTS
The farm covers 2.2 hectares of mainly wine production. Dolcetto and a fragrant Moscato are produced in the vineyard. In addition, the products from the garden are expertly preserved in jars: dried tomatoes with green sauce, marinated zucchini, aubergines and artichokes, along with hazelnut mustard, peach jams, pears, cherries, apples, pears, quinces and squash. 40 hectares of fields. The crops and productions are mainly concentrated on extra virgin olive oil, fruit, vegetables, cereals, jams and vegetable pates.
