Paderna (AL)
Rif. # 001
Paderna is located on the Tortona hills, a land of cultivation and cycling, thanks to the feats of Fausto Coppi who, precisely on these ups and downs, showed his formidable talent at a young age by making deliveries by bicycle every morning to the farmers of the area as a butcher of Novi Ligure.
Today the Tortona area is characterized by some renowned food and wine excellences - above all the wine from Timorasso grapes, baci di dama and peaches (famous those from Volpedo) - which are the driving force for other quality crops.

FARM CROPS AND PRODUCTS
The farm, taken over from the current ownership in 1995 and developed with dedication over the years, has long focused on fruit trees, in particular: figs, peaches, plums, cherry jujube trees. Despite a limited territorial extension of the estate (about 1 hectare), however, enormous attention is paid to the care of the crops - pruning, treatment from organic farming, harvest - and to the creative elaboration of products derived from them, much loved and requested by numerous guests who have visited the farm: , ,
- Sweet and sour figs
- Plum and apple chutney
- Figs, lemons and almonds jam
- Various jams (peaches, plums and cherries)
- Cherries in syrup
- Jujube broth according to the ancient Greek recipe
