Viano is made up of a set of villages, such as Cadonega, Corte and Minghetta, marked by the presence of tower houses of probable late medieval origin. Near the town hall stands a castle from the early fourteenth century, the site of the oldest settlement in the country.

FARMHOUSE DESCRIPTION
The enchanting and poetic structure is located in a historic rural village on the Reggio hills. The accommodations, consisting of three bedrooms with private bathroom, are housed in a manor house dating back to the Middle Ages, adjacent to two tower houses of late medieval origin and other rural buildings surrounded by a courtyard area and large spaces to greenery and woods.

Alongside the hospitality business, the products of excellence of the territory are promoted, selecting producers who adopt organic farming in eco-sustainable contexts. It offers a range of products all from local farms consisting of: producers of honey of various flavors (acacia, chestnut, wildflower); producers of ancient grain flours and selected cereals, grown in the municipality and ground by the local stone mill, and artisanal pasta; production of Parmigiano Reggiano and dairy / dairy butter; producers of wine from native grape varieties (spergola) and local grape varieties from companies all located in the PDO area of ​​spergola.
